What did we do in the third week? - Video

What did we do in the third week?

On this week, we made activities about eating habits (in the childhood and in now). Also, we spoke about our favorite restaurant: type of food, service, atmosphere, style and the cost. So, the teacher taught us to make a descriptive text. This text contained an introduction, details and characteristic. Finally, the text contained a conclusion, invitation or critic.

In conclusion, in this week I learnt:

to make a descriptive text

to take notes

to ask questions from a topic.

How do you feel? - Second and third week

Second week:

Always I thought the teacher's methodology is very good. Her activities are fun and I learnt much. I like  her classes, because she did activities to practice pronunciation. Also, I like so much to do an activity after another. The teacher is very dinamic and recursive.  Almost always in the classes, we practice listening, writing and speaking. I like it!! 

Third week:

In this week, I couldn't go one time at classes, 'cause I was so sick. But the teacher was friendly and she said me the activities made in class. One day, I felt a little uncomfortable, because I couldn't finish an activity. My group It was not very efficient. Moreover, in last class, I couldn't participate an integration (This was a "picnic", something), 'cause I had to apply some vaccines. It was painful! My arm still hurts!! 

What did we do in the second week?

During the week, we made activities about "my first experiences", vacation trips and narrative text. 

In my first experiences activity, some students spoke about first kiss, first party or their first accident. I spoke about my first accident. Also, my classmates and me made a narrative text about vacation on Medellin. The structure's text contained an introduction, a climax and conclusion. Moreover, the teacher taught us vocabulary or expressions about feelings.

In this class, I learnt to make a descriptive text in past. It was interesting!

French fries

The french fries are a types of potatoes. These potatoes are cut into strips or sliced and it's friend in oil. These potatoes originated at a restaurant called "Moon Lake Lodge" in NY, around the year 1853. Because, a customer had complained so thick potato and the chef decided to cut the potatoes very thin.

Although chips were already a popular dish in most Commonwealth countries, the thin style of French fries has been popularized worldwide in part by U.S.-based fast food chains such as McDonald's. These are the best french fries, oh yes!!

Note: The french fries have more vitamins than cooked, 'cause cooking process is shorter.  

Descriptive text

McDonald's is a fun restaurant. Here, you can eat delicious hamburgers (American food) and ice creams. 

In this restaurant, also they sell salads, shakes and the most delicious french fries. Restaurant's service is good, but when there aren't a lot of people. Restaurant's style is modern and youth; its atmosphere is nice to eat and it´s very comfortable. The restaurant is not very expensive, it all depends on you have money.
